President's Award for Outstanding Sophomores

THE PRESIDENT’S AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING SOPHOMORES will be presented to 15 selected individuals who have excelled in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service to the university community at the University of Oklahoma. This award is the highest honor bestowed to sophomores by the university community. This award is for recognition only and is not a scholarship.

REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must be a second-year student and have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours by January 2025; earned a cumulative 3.25 grade point average or higher; and be enrolled full-time in spring 2025. Even if a student has hours completed at the junior level or higher, if they are a second-year student this is the award application they should complete.

SELECTION PROCESS: Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of faculty, staff, and students. There is no interview for this selection process.
