The President's Award for Outstanding Volunteer
THE PRESIDENT’S AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEERS will be presented to two or three selected individuals who have excelled in the area of community service and volunteerism. This award is for recognition only and is not a scholarship.
REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must have completed a minimum of 72 credit hours by January 2025; be expected to graduate in 2025 or 2026; earned a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher; and be enrolled full-time in spring 2025, unless they are a senior needing a specific number of hours to graduate or are enrolled in an accelerated degree program. If a student received this award during their junior year, they should not reapply during their senior year, as their name is already on the award list. To be eligible for this award, applicant volunteer hours must also be posted on the GivePulse platform.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of faculty, staff, and students. There is no interview for this selection process.
