OU LGBTQ Alumni Society Scholarship Application

The University of Oklahoma LGBTQ Alumni Society is delighted to welcome applications for its annual scholarship competition!

The OU LGBTQ Alumni Society connects the University of Oklahoma’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer alumni to OU and to one another while providing scholarships, internships, and personal and professional development to current students pursuing LGBTQ equality. Scholarship funds will be awarded to one or more University of Oklahoma students committed to LGBTQ advocacy.

The Society will distribute a total of $5,000 in cash and tuition waivers* among the recipients. The sexual orientation and gender identity of applicants will not be considered in the selection process.

*Each award will be equal parts cash and tuition waivers. Some students may not be eligible for the waiver. Ineligibility for the tuition waiver will not preclude an applicant from consideration for the award.
