Osher Reentry Scholarship
The Osher Reentry Scholarship is provided by the Bernard Osher Foundation to help students with a five year gap in their education complete their first bachelor’s degree. The gap can be, but is not limited to, the gap between high school gradation and college. It does not have to be a consecutive gap. This scholarship is only for undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelors degree. The award is a multi-year scholarship provided that the student continues to meet the eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Full-time enrollment each semester.
- Degree-seeking status on the OU Norman Campus.
- Undergraduate student pursuing their first baccalaureate degree.
- Minimum 2.0 Overall GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Must have a completed FAFSA on file.
- Demonstrated Financial Need.
- Students must have experienced a collegiate cumulative gap in their education of five or more years. This gap can include from high school to a student’s first course taken at a college, including a community college.
- Anticipated participation in the workforce for a significant time after graduation.
- Show academic promise and a commitment to obtaining their degree.
