This scholarship opportunity is open only to students in good academic standing with the University of Oklahoma Honors College. Completing this application places students in consideration for scholarship opportunities awarded by the Honors College.
In order to be eligible for some need-based Honors College scholarships, eligible students must complete and submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
In order to be eligible for some Honors College scholarships, students must be enrolled full-time. The University of Oklahoma classifies full-time enrollment as…
- Undergraduate students enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester
- Graduate students enrolled in 9 credit hours, or 5 credit hours and have a .5 appointment as a GA or TA.

- One scholarship for Honors College students, the Denise and John Bode Student Research and Enrichment Scholarship, was established to support undergraduate students pursuing a multi-disciplinary degree that focuses on food, and the arts and sciences they encompass, such as Health and Exercise Science, nutrition, and culinary medicine. If your academic pursuits focus on any of these topics, please complete the below essay prompt to be considered for a scholarship award.
Describe how receiving this scholarship will enhance your academic and professional growth. How do you plan to contribute to the field of nutrition, culinary medicine, or other related sciences, and what impact do you hope your research will have? - Please be aware that all scholarship application materials are subject to OU's Academic Integrity Policy.
