Air Force ROTC Scholarship Application

Currently enrolled students in good standing with the University of Oklahoma Air Force ROTC program are eligible to apply for scholarships via the Air Force ROTC Scholarship Application.

Students applying for AFROTC scholarship must have an updated FAFSA on file. Eligible students must complete and submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

  • If you are selected for a scholarship and do not have an active or current FAFSA on file, your scholarship will not be awarded.  As a precautionary measure, check your current FAFSA file to ensure it is up to date. This will prevent slowing down the award of your funds.

In order to be eligible for some Air Force ROTC scholarships, students must be enrolled full-time. The University of Oklahoma classifies full-time enrollment as…

  • Undergraduate students enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester
  • Graduate students enrolled in 9 credit hours, or 5 credit hours and have a .5 appointment as a GA or TA.

The OU Air Force ROTC programs present the Mulva Family Scholarship to deserving Air Force ROTC cadets that meet the following criteria:

  • full-time student at the University of Oklahoma; if you are attending as a crosstown, you will not be eligible for this scholarship
  • must be enrolled in Air Force ROTC (AFROTC) and have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • must demonstrate financial need
  • must maintain a 3.0 for the current semester and the upcoming semester when funds are distributed. If you GPA falls below 3.0 prior to the funds being awarded, then you are no longer eligible for the scholarship.
