Lucy Hart Finnerty Scholarship for Alpha Phi

Lucy Hart Finnerty was a member of Phi chapter of Alpha Phi. She served as chair of scholarship and was a model sister when it came to academics. Lucy was a respected leader in the chapter, active in campus activities and committed to living out our Alpha Phi values. The land at 1401 South College where the chapter house remains was actually donated by Lucy in the early 1950s because she believed strongly in our sorority. When she passed away in 1988 at the age of 82, she left part of her estate to Phi chapter of Alpha Phi. Her gift established the Lucy Hart Finnerty memorial gift fund. Scholarships are awarded to college students and gifts are given to support Phi chapter academics. Thank you for applying for a scholarship and for carrying on Lucy’s legacy.
